someone was asleep at the wheel over there...opened borat total at 16million...got in 1 bet at -108.....put it back up at 15million -260un...got shut out at the window...put it back up at 13million got an another bet at -108....took it back off the board again

i really believe they are unaware its only opening in 800 theatres..

Thats not the point, 16 is well too high. 20k per theatre is very rare (in at least 500+ theatres) and cannot be expected.

if that movies does 20k pta then i dont deserve to win that bet...

it was a bad line...15 was a bad line 13 was a bad line...

they put it back up at 11 and now its otb again...

its 3rd on the list at nf theatre as far as screen order...behind the other 2 openers...so even if it does sell out its not gonna sell out at the biggest screen....

tracking was 8million fwiw...

its got 2screens at nf place...3screen each for other 2 openers...and its gonna be in the smaller rooms...

there is a ceiling to what this movie can do this weekend...

its also been screened everywhere from what i have read...yes the reviews are great...yes the wom will be good but a lot of people (fanboys at that) have already seen it....

i might actually have a winner this weekend...a freebie at that but ill take what i can get at this point...

i had to take up betroyals bonus today thats how bad things have been lately....

fwiw RS tracking at 12million...the line is now 12m at pinny...at that # its still 15k per..which is a large #...

Let's say worst case scenario 50,000 people have seen it....that's $400,000 in box office. A drop in the bucket.

I don't like sharing my plays as you know, but I'll say this...I wouldn't be counting those Under eggs before they hatch.
